It's Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas!

The project today was to get the tree up and decorated.  I can't believe how long that took!  Temple and I somehow hung the lights wrong and we had to pull them all off and start again--you would not believe I got to the point where I was literally screaming with frustration!!!  After many hours, the tree was finally finished.
Whew!!!  I don't know what made it so hard this year because there was a moment there when I truly thought of just taking it down ;D.

I just want to show some special ornaments on our tree.

Have a Blessed Evening.

ARTastic December Challenge

Good Morning!  It's that time for a new challenge at ARTastic!  The inspiration art piece this month is this awesome painting by Boticeli:
There is so much to take in about this painting--the rich colors, the celebration of the Saviour's birth and the struggle between good and evil represented at the bottom of the painting.

The Diva Demands were:
1. Angel/s = 1pt
2 Gold embossing (Somewhere on the page) = 2pts
3. A Stable=3 pts

I went in a different direction with the challenge and used more muted colors:
This is a picture of Temple dressed up as Saint Ann (The Virgin Mary's mother) at Church for All Saints Day at the beginning of November.  I used gold heat embossing in the tag of the Nativity.  My stable is in the lower right and my angel heralding the arrival of Jesus is at the top of the LO.
Here are some close-ups:

I would love to see you join in on the challenge this month.  Stop by ARTastic and check out the wonderful LOs my DT members have done!  See you there!

Have a Blessed Day!
Hugs, Robin
