Surprise!

Here is a LO based on 52 Sketches...52 Weeks LO #20 that I did on the water fountain that Charles surprised me with for my birthday on May 12th this year. So, I got my new Nikon D60 camera, saw the play, Wicked and the movie Star Trek (did I mention I was a Trekkie!) and got a water fountain! I think I did very good for my birthday this year!!!

Temple - Pre-K Grad 2008

Here is a LO of Temple when she graduated Pre-K last May 2008. Amazing! A whole year has come and gone. Now my little one is finishing up Kindergarten and getting ready for first grade! This LO is based on Sketch #21 from the 52 Sketches...52 Weeks website.

Temple's New Bathing Suit

Temple loves her new bathing suit. With this swimsuit she now has 4 to get her through this summer! This is a digital layout using PSE 7 (my program from you know where!). I suffer through this program to do anything but when I can finally get something done, it usually looks good but I do go through immeasurable pain to get it!

All Girl!!

I just posted this LO to the Got Sketch website. It is based on sketch #68. It is, of course, on Temple and how she made dad and me realize just how much of a girlie girl she is.

Here is LOs # 9 and 10 of 11 (just one more to go)! I was running low on design ideas for the family photo so I went to Got Sketch? to get some inspiration. I ended up using Sketch #69 for my family LO.

Mother's Day Weekend 2009!

What a great weekend I had. It was jammed packed with all sorts of good things! Great big smooches to my husband, Charles, who made it all happen! Here is a double page spread where I tried to capture a tiny bit of it.

I've submitted this layout to Facebook's Scrapbooking first ever scrapbooking contest. This is a hybrid layout using digital and traditional scrapbooking.

Teacher Appreciation Day

Monday is Teacher Appreciation Day at Temple's school. We signed up to send in a card for Temple's teacher, so of course, I made it! I put a picture of Temple at 1yr old on the front and there's a current picture of Temple on the inside of the card.
