Go Confidently in the Direction of your Dreams!

I was blog hopping the other day and stopped by Creative Scrappers.  They had posted Sketch #164 which I thought was such a good example of  less is more!

I created the below LO from this sketch:
This was Temple's first year on the swim team and she totally loved it.  The season ended yesterday with the Championships.  Temple finished this season landing somewhere in the middle of the pack of the 8yr olds and under.  She said she definitely will continue with this next year.  We've spoken with one of the assistant coaches who agreed to give Temple private lessons next month--she is looking forward to it!

No matter how many times I stamp, I rarely if ever get my stamping right!

Ms Diva!

Once again, I share with you a LO I did of Temple!  On one of our trips to Disney, she persistently asked for a Disney dress (ie, costume!), and I kept telling her no - 1) because she grows so much and so quickly that I think it's a waste of money, and 2) because she would wear it a couple of times before moving on to the next thing.  I told her that she could get shorts or a t-shirt, you know something that she'll get some wear out of before she outgrows it.  We went into one of the shops that sells Disney clothes and she found the sundress that she's wearing in the picture.  Not only is it cute (and practical!), she loves the dress, so she wears it!  This is a perfect example of  "Mother Knows Best!"

Saturday Share

Hello!  I hope you are well!  I've been doing a little scrapping this week.  As usual I created a LO of my favorite subject, Temple!  It's hard to see the name of this LO--it's Sweet Cupcake.
This is a picture I took of Temple a few months ago when we visited the Kennedy Space Center.  She's wearing her father's hat.  I also photoshopped the photo to give it that retro look to go with the hat!

The above is a Stampin' up punch.

Some Stuff!

Hello!!!  I know I've been gone for a very long while.  My first issue was my extremely demanding job, which has now been taken care of--I resigned!  My last 2 weeks were the longest 2 weeks I had to live through, but I am proud to say, effective July 1st, I am now a stay-at-home-Mom!!!  And if you ask Temple, she'll tell you it's the best job Mommy has ever had.  My job kept me so stressed out and tired that I wasn't doing much scrapbooking.  I did manage to do these projects over the past few weeks:
Charles grilled us up some lobster and shrimp kabobs a couple of weeks ago and Temple grabbed my camera and took pictures.
We visited Kennedy Space Center earlier this year and what a fun time we had.  I used my June Studio Calico Kit to create this double page which was perfect for this LO.
Finally, I wanted to share with you the Father's Day Card I made for Charles which was from both Temple and me!  Temple was so funny when she signed the card because she signed her full name!  Charles laughed and exclaimed, "as if I didn't know who she is!"

I won't stay away so long again!
