Another Got Sketch 106 LO

Here's another LO I did over a week ago that I forgot to post!

This is my great-nephew, Josiah!  Josiah is my niece's son and he is 5yrs old and truly adorable, charming, and extremely intelligent.  My brother who is Josiah's grandfather unfortunately and unexpectedly passed away 6 months before my niece was born, but it's amazing how strong bloodlines, the genes and the Grace of God are because Josiah looks so much like my brother and has a lot of his characteristics!

Sunday Stuff!

Wow, time flies so fast that I can hardly keep up!  Today is Temple's 8th birthday!

Yesterday we had her birthday party at Jungle Quest.  She and her friends played in the Jungle playground, climbed the rock wall and zoomed along the zip line!

At the appointed time, we then enjoyed pizza and birthday cake in one of the private birthday rooms where she had her own hostess to take care of everything!  Is that not the best way to have a birthday party for your child?  We just showed up and then we left!!!  Temple and her friends had a great time!  Here are some photos of Temple enjoying yesterday:

Crossing the rope bridge which is new at Jungle Quest and something that the kids all did and pronounced one of their favorite things!  I later asked Temple why was that and she said that it was challenging and dangerous!!!  Out of the mouth of babes!

And here is her thank you card that was placed in the party favors water bottle that was also included in the birthday package!  The water bottle was also filled with other goodies that the kids got to take home.  The other added benefit of having her party at Jungle Quest?  She had so much physical activity that she was knocked out by 8:00pm last night!

The festivities continued today -- my mother-in-law, Charles, Temple and I had brunch at IHOP where Temple opened her final gifts from Charles and me and my mother-in-law.  Temple made her rounds around our table to once again thank us for a wonderful birthday!

I've managed to finish another Got Sketch LO!  This time I used pictures from our vacation in July of Charles and Temple!

I signed up for the Got Sketch 106 class that started November 1st.  So far 4 sketches have been posted and I've only managed to get the first one done!  It's a double page sketch which was great because I have a gazillion pictures of our trip home to NYC over the Columbus Day weekend!

I chose to do a LO with pictures of Charles' brother and his family who were here in August for their annual trip to visit my mother-in-law and our family.
