Two New Blog Awards

I am truly humbled by my fellow blog sisters' thoughts of me.  I've been blogging for just a year and my connections with the women I've befriended and who've befriended me have just been incredible!  Nita is a new friend with a good heart, and she's extended to me a Beautiful Blogger Award.

Terry is a lovely friend, who I also have the good fortune of serving on her Tellen's Place and Tellen's Place Designs design teams, and she's passed on to me a Sunshine Award.

Practical Scrappers - Year Old Stash

This week's challenge over at Practical Scrappers is to use something you've had in your stash for over a year!!!

This week we want you to dig into that stash and use something that you got over a year ago. It can be a product or tool and you only need to use one item to qualify. The Grand Prize winner will receive two free digi stamps from The Stamping Boutique. The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. on Saturday.

A Couple of Projects to Share

Last week's Practical Scrappers' Challenge was Chipboard.  I decided to make this chipboard mini album for my niece, Nikki who is having her 2nd child!

I really enjoyed making this for my niece and she was surprised and happy for the gift!  I hope to make more albums for her to document her pregnancy.

Welcome to my new Blog!!!

Well, it's my old Blog but with a new design!!!  This beautiful new design was designed by Leelou Designs, and I think she did a fabulous job!  Why the new design, because it is my Blog Birthday!  I am 1 year old today--yay!!!  When I started blogging a year ago, I had no idea what I was doing.  I have learned a lot over the past year and I have made some wonderful friends through this medium as well.  So I wanted to celebrate by giving you all a really sunny place to visit!  I hope you enjoy my new blog design as much as I am enjoying it.

PS:  As I just got it this morning, please bear with me while I tweak it to get it just right.

It's Thursday and I'm Up!

This week at Practical Scrappers, it was all about chalk or ink!  I decided to do chalk.  I've had these word and flower stencils for ages--I actually forgot I had them, and that is why I so like Practical Scrappers because I find I use tools and supplies that I already have much more often!  I should be asleep right now, so I'm just going to post my layout and get right back atcha tomorrow!
