Charles and I helped Temple plant a garden today. She asked me last year(!) if she could plant a garden and I told her yes. Unfortunately, we didn't get around to doing it until today. I must admit that she reminded every now and then over the winter that we did not do it, and thank goodness we were able to finally do it today. The weather was just right to work in the garden, around 73 degrees and sunny. Here are a couple of digi layouts of her garden.

Charles & Temple Having Fun!
Ah, Florida! This is Charles and Temple playing in the backyard in February. They are so good together. Charles really knows how to connect with Temple at her level. Doing a layout like this reminds me why I so love scrapbooking, because it is the everyday moments captured that truly allow me to appreciate how blessed my life is.

I love this project I did for a client. She wanted a memory book to document her pregnancy but she did not want one that meant she had to do a lot of journaling (she previously miscarried and the memory book she had for her first pregnancy had her doing a great deal of writing). She was extremely happy with the finished book and felt she could document this pregnancy in a fun, easy way. It made me happy that I could participate just a little bit in this special woman's pregnancy.

My accident saga...
I had x-rays done last week and I saw my doctor yesterday. I am still having back spasms, so she has recommended that I do physical therapy. Last year right about this time, I did physical therapy for my shoulder (I had tendinitis), so the process is not unfamiliar to me. I will be going back to the same PT clinic.

I still can't believe I was rear-ended in a 3-car accident last Tuesday (3/3/09). I was in the lead car, and I was rear-ended by the guy behind me who was rear-ended by the woman behind him. I've never been in a car accident and it was quite frightening. I went to see my doctor on Thursday because my back was bothering me and sure enough, I was injured. My doc put me on anti-inflamatory medication for my back spasms and I'm scheduled to take x-rays on Wed. a.m. I will be dropping off my car at the service station that works with the woman's insurance company. They will put me up in a car rental until they figure out what damage my car suffered and then fix it. Lots of red tape. Lots.
