My Practical Scrappers Stamping LO

I am running a bit behind this week--this was my first full week back at work after being on medical leave for 6 weeks, so please bear with me while I catch you up!

So here's my LO and card that I did:
Here is the LO:
I kept the LO simple to focus on the stamping background.

Some detail:

My other stamping technique was to stamp the butterfly on the LO with glue and sprinkle with glitter.
Here is my card:

I used the same stamp on the card that I used on the LO.  I first saturated my cardstock with water and I scrunched it, unfolded and then scrunched again.  I did that until I was satisfied with the result.  I then smoothed out the cardstock and ironed it dry.
I stamped 2 butterflies, cut them out and layered one on top of the other with foam dots--I just wanted to give it some depth.

I stamped my sentiment on the cardstock and tore around it to glue onto my card.

Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

Oh yeah, I'm lovin' this layout. I love the stamped background and that butterfly is sooooo cute! You really did some fun stuff and taught me new techniques to try! This is such a cute picture of Temple - I love seeing these layouts - such a warm and inviting scene. You do such great work, Robin! ;D I hope you are doing well and getting back to the day-to-day grind. Don't overdo it, though...take your time...;p
