Tellen's Place - Pink & Brown Challenge

I know I am a day late but Tellen's Place posted its challenge yesterday and what a fun challenge it is--use the fabulous color combo, Pink & Brown! I am a lover of the 12x12 LO, but I decided for this challenge to make a mini album of Temple and her BFF, Tatiana. We went to the beach 2 weeks ago and we took Tatiana, my mother-in-law and her sweet little dog, Coco. The girls had a wonderful time and I wanted to catch that fun and what they mean to each other!

From Screen 2 Scrap May Entry

From Screen 2 Scrap is a monthly challenge blog owned by my good friend, Shazza!  It offers up a movie poster for your inspiration, along with some bonus points criteria.  This month's inspiration is Fried Green Tomatoes! 

The challenge is to scrap about an important woman in your life.  I was inspired by the poster to create a LO about Temple and her BFF, Tatiana.  These girls are really close and behave more like sisters to each other than friends.  In other words, they are pretty important to each other!  I wanted to try and capture just a bit of their special friendship in my LO.

I loved making these paper flowers though they did challenge me at first.  You have to roll them up and I kept rolling them the wrong way!

I love Stickles and am always happy when I can use some!

These are pictures that were taken when Tatiana and her mom and my friend Valerie, and Charles, Temple and I spent the Valentine's Day 2010 weekend down in Disney World.

Happy Wednesday at Tellen's Place

It's Wednesday and so you know it means a new challenge at Tellen's Place!  This week we're focusing on Tags!  We want to see a tag in your project.   Here is my project where I used some fabulous Tellen's Place Digi images, and while you can use whatever image you'd like, we still would love to see what you do with a Tellen's Place digi!

It's My Birthday!!!

My goodness, I am 50 today and Loving it!!!  My DH bought me a 1/2 day at one of my favorite spas which I will be off to in a couple of hours.  I am going to have a full body massage, facial, manicure and they will serve me lunch--it just doesn't get any better than that!

As for my birthday goodies, I did the random generator at Random.org this morning, and here are the winners:

My Birthday is Coming Up!!!

So I've decided that I would love to give away some blog candy to celebrate my big day.  Starting today, I will add a scrappy piece, and I'll add another piece for each day until my birthday.  That's 64 scrappy items!!!  To spread it around, I'll have 3 winners of 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small package of goodies.  Starting on Friday, I'll post a picture of what I've purchased so far, and I'll do that every Friday until the big day, yay!!!  The rules are simple:  just add a comment to this post which I will keep at the top of my blog until my birthday on May 12th (also please feel free to become a follower/friend, if you so choose).  I'll use a random generator to pick the winners!  There are no restrictions regarding where you live, everyone everywhere is welcome!!!  I've also created a separate page that you can click on at the top of my blog so you can take a look at the goodies!
